Hoppy Easter Celebrations at The Old Vicarage!
Spring is in the air at The Old Vicarage Care Home, and what better way to celebrate than with a delightful visit from our friends at Little Peeps Childcare?
Last week, Lauren brought a group of energetic and cheerful children to our home for an afternoon filled with Easter cheer. The highlight of the day was a vibrant Easter Bonnet Parade!
The children, brimming with pride, showcased their creatively decorated Easter bonnets, each a masterpiece of colourful feathers, fluffy chicks, and shiny eggs. Our residents were absolutely charmed by the children's creativity and enthusiasm.
Following the parade, the fun continued with an egg-cellent Easter egg hunt! We transformed our beautiful garden into a treasure trove of delicious chocolate eggs, and with eager eyes and excited chatter, each child successfully found plenty of treats.
The laughter and joy that filled the afternoon were truly heartwarming. The intergenerational connection between our residents and the children was a beautiful sight, reminding us all of the simple pleasures in life. We are incredibly grateful to Lauren and the children at Little Peeps for sharing their Easter spirit with us. We look forward to their next visit!
