Character Setting
The home enjoys a rural country manor feel, with the elegant charm of the high Victorian ceilings and cornices. There are bathroom facilities located at either end of the house and within easy reach of all Residents. Residents are offered a choice of accommodation with single or shared rooms. Married couples are made especially welcome. TV points are provided in most bedrooms and a telephone can be installed if wished. A Nurse Call System is in operation from each room.

The house has a welcoming lounge at the front of the house as well as two more lounge areas for residents to enjoy whenever they please. There are a number of dining areas available and an attractive reception hall with original Victorian tiles. The house has full central heating and full compliance with modern fire precautions and alarm systems.

The Gardens
Immediately to the rear of the house is a stone flagged terrace containing a variety of flowers, shrubs and conifers leading to the formal gardens beyond. The gardens form a most impressive feature, bounded by high brick and stone walls offering absolute privacy.

The Nursing Wing
Constructed in natural stone and completed in 1992, this extension provided additional nursing facilities to an already residential care home. Officially opened by His Grace the Duke of Buccleuch KT. Each room has en-suite facilities, TV & telephone points and furnished to very high standards.

Lifestyle
Residents are allowed, wherever possible, to live their lives as independently as possible. They are encouraged to remain active as long as possible and participate in as many activities as they are able to manage, subject to their own limitations.

The Home helps clients to lead their individual lifestyles by encouraging existing and new interests and providing varied activities for those interested. Most of our residents come from or have family in the surrounding areas of Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton or Peterborough and friends and family are welcomed at any time to visit their loved ones.
