Under the guidance of the caring staff they created collages, expressing their individuality and sharing stories through art.
As the sun soared high in the sky, bringing warmth and laughter, the residents were treated to delicious ice lollies. The cool, refreshing treats provided the perfect respite from the summer heat, and their delightful flavours brought smiles to everyone's faces. With each lick, they savoured the sweet taste of summer, relishing the simple pleasures that make life so beautiful.
A few days later, the residents were once again drawn to the garden, eager to indulge in another summer adventure. This time, their focus shifted to the wonders of gardening. Armed with gardening gloves, trowels, and pots, they embarked on a journey of nurturing nature's beauty.
Under the guidance of the care home's fantastic team, the residents carefully potted a wide variety of plants. From vibrant flowers to fragrant herbs, they marvelled at the miraculous transformation from tiny seedlings to flourishing greenery. Everybody is so excited to watch how the plants continue to grow and develop throughout the rest of the summer months.
