Festive Fun at The Old Vic

The festive season was a busy time for the residents of The Old Vicarage Care Home, our gold standard care home in Northamptonshire, with events and activities aplenty. The week before the big day it was time for The Old Vic’s annual Christmas Party. A delicious buffet, courtesy of Karen and Tanya, featuring a wide array of savoury snacks and tasty treats was paired with a great selection of drinks with something for everyone available. Entertainment was provided by the lovely Lizzi, who brought her mic and sang everybody’s favourite hits.

A couple of days later the residents turned their hands to a spot of Christmas flower arranging. Using a selection of gorgeous flowers they put together some fantastically festive flower arrangements, showing off their floral talents and bringing a whole bunch of colour to the home.

And then a few days before Christmas The Old Vic received a visit from a couple of very special guests - Father Christmas and Mrs Claus! In an attempt to lighten his load ahead of his fast approaching busiest night of the year, ol’ Saint Nick decided to swing by Kettering and deliver some gifts ahead of time, much to the enjoyment of the residents here at The Old Vic!
