Live Entertainment Fun at The Old Vic
Opportunities to enjoy some live entertainment have been understandably limited for some time now, however, the recent easing of restrictions has allowed us to arrange some fantastic activities for the residents at The Old Vicarage Care Home. Live music is very popular amongst our residents so we knew inviting some local singers to perform would definitely go down a treat.
A couple of weeks ago we were lucky enough to play host to the wonderful Jenny as she put on a fantastic outdoor performance. With our amazing gardens as her stage, Jenny sang her heart out for our residents as they revelled in the moment, enjoying the music.
The following week saw The Old Vic welcome some more musical entertainment. This time we had the pleasure of the fabulous mother-daughter duo of Lesley Ann and Katie Rose joining us to entertain the residents. Unfortunately the weather was not as generous as it had been a week prior so we had to adapt. Instead of a garden gig Lesley Ann and Katie Rose, wearing some stunning sparkly red sequined dresses, showcased their singing and dancing talents on the patio as the residents enjoyed the show from the warmth and comfort of the lounge.
Jenny, Lesley Ann and Katie Rose were all absolutely fantastic performers and everybody had an excellent time getting to enjoy some live entertainment after having to go so long without! We look forward to hosting more exciting activities like this in the future.
