We believe a home should be

  • Where each person is an individual
  • Where there are no unnecessary rules and regulations
  • Where dignity, peace and comfort take priority
  • Where companionship, interest and activity flourishes.
  • And where people are supported to lead the fullest possible lives

About Us

The Old Vicarage Care Home is situated less than 2 miles from Kettering Town centre, a short distance from the A43 Northern Bypass and within easy reach of Corby. The home is within a short walk from the church, local sub-post office and tea-room. The house enjoys an impressive south-facing position in the centre of this much sought after village. The gardens, which have been featured nationally, together with grounds of one acre, look onto the Boughton Estate, home of the Duke of Buccleuch.

With an oustanding reputation for care in the local community, The Old Vicarage is run by the Registered Manager Helen Finlay, Deputy Daisy Faustino and a team of dedicated staff with a number of relevant health care qualifications. The home is also in the process of putting together their submission for Gold Standards Framework accreditation (GSF). A framework for implementing improved coordination and better organisation to deliver better outcomes in line with their needs and preferences for people nearing end of life care.

The Old Vicarage Care Home with Nursing is part of Royal Bay Care Homes Ltd. The Group is based in West Sussex and owns a number of Care Homes in Northamptonshire, Worcestershire, Sussex and Dorset. Royal Bay is an expanding group committed to the highest standards of care. It has been operating as a group for some 10 years, and its management team has experience in the care sector since 1976.
